We’ve listed all of the FX Slot Mods we’ve come across so far in the list below: So now we know the rarity of the FX Slot Mods in The Division 2, we’re pretty bummed, right? Well, there are only two FX Mods in the game so far, and they’re not exactly what you’d call exciting. Only some gear has a mod slot, just like weapons have mod slots, and you add gear mod to your gear in the same method as you do in weapon mods. Similarly, there have not been any reports of players receiving FX Mods by other means, so it looks like for now at least, you’ll need to have bought the special edition. Gear Mods in The Division can be applied to your Gear to improve it's Attributes.They can be crafted, acquired as drops from Enemies, or purchased from Vendors. We’ve played around 100 hours of The Division 2, and haven’t once come across one of these FX Mods, meaning they likely do not exist as random drops in the game, at least not yet. Other special versions of The Division 2 list similar bonuses. The Ultimate Edition, for example, lists a ‘Special Skill Effect’. Unfortunately, the only way to get FX Slot Mods in The Division 2 is by purchasing special editions of the game. For example +Skill Healing exists on mods, as does +Skills Duration. In terms of attributes, the Gear Mods have slightly more stats and more niche stats in the pool. Where to Get FX Slot Mods in The Division 2 The Gear Mods will only have 1 stat on them and like with normal gear you have a visualization of how the rolls on the mods are.
